Connecticut is building more housing… but it’s not fixing the problem.

A new apartment expansion was just approved near Mystic — adding more units to an already large development in Stonington. And it’s not random… it’s demand-driven.

You’ve got: • hiring at Electric Boat • more people relocating in • strong demand for coastal living

But here’s the issue: even with new construction, housing is still limited — very few homes for sale, and a lot of what’s available is priced high. And many of the new units are higher-end rentals, not truly affordable options.

So yes, supply is “increasing”… but it’s not necessarily helping the average buyer or renter.

DM “SHORELINE” and I’ll show you where opportunities actually exist in CT right now.
