Across Connecticut, we’re seeing outdated office space transformed into much-needed housing. The latest example? A proposed redevelopment in downtown Bridgeport that would convert an office building into 77 new apartments, all within walking distance of jobs, restaurants, and the train station.

This is a trend worth watching.

The way we work has changed.

The need for housing hasn’t.

Instead of letting buildings sit vacant, communities are finding creative ways to breathe new life into their downtowns—and I believe we’re only at the beginning.
