Yes — inventory is up a little in Connecticut. But we’re still only around 2–3 months of supply… and a balanced market is closer to 5–6 months.

So buyers are seeing more listings, but it’s still not enough to meet demand.

And here’s the part people miss: a lot of the new listings aren’t “the good ones.” Some are overpriced, some need work, and some just don’t match what today’s buyers want.

So what happens? The well-priced, move-in ready homes still get multiple offers. Everything else sits.
