If you’ve moved to Connecticut from another state, you’ve probably noticed this immediately
CT homes are older — a lot older. We’re talking 1940s, 1950s, even early 1900s builds… and that comes with differences buyers from the South/West aren’t used to:
• more compartmentalized layouts • smaller closets • oil heat (in some areas) • sometimes no central A/C
For some buyers, that’s a negative. For others, it’s character and solid construction.
But if you don’t understand it going in, you’ll either overreact… or overpay.
DM “CT HOMES” and I’ll tell you what to expect before you buy (and what upgrades are worth it vs. not worth it).
