While sellers across America are pulling their homes off the market, Connecticut is doing the exact opposite.

A new report found that nationally, more sellers are delisting because of higher rates, rising inventory, and economic uncertainty.

But Connecticut is one of the biggest exceptions.

Only about 3.8% of listings here were pulled from the market — much lower than many other states.

Why?

Because Connecticut still has a serious housing shortage.

Even with rates where they are, sellers know buyers are still out there. That is why we are still seeing competition, bidding wars, and strong demand in many Connecticut towns.

The national market may be cooling, but Connecticut is still playing by different rules.

Comment your town below and I’ll tell you if it is acting more like Connecticut… or more like the national market.
